Pricing FAQ

What happens after the 14-day free trial?+
You stay on the $99/month plan. We don’t take a credit card at signup, so if you choose not to continue, you simply don’t add a payment method and the account naturally lapses — no surprise charges, no recovery emails badgering you. If you do continue, you add a card from `/admin/billing` and the first charge runs the day the trial ends.
Are there any per-user, per-customer, or per-job fees?+
No. $99/month includes unlimited team members (owner, admin, office, crew), unlimited customers, unlimited jobs, unlimited recurring schedules, and unlimited SMS / email sends. The only variable cost on top of the $99 is Stripe’s standard 2.9% + 30¢ on each customer payment — and Groundcut takes 0% of that as a platform fee. Your customer pays $X, Stripe takes its cut, you keep the rest.
How does Stripe Connect work?+
You connect your own Stripe account during onboarding (5–10 minutes). Customer payments flow into your connected account directly; payouts go to your bank on Stripe’s standard schedule. Groundcut never holds your customers’ money. Refunds, chargebacks, and dispute responses all happen in your own Stripe dashboard.
Can I cancel any time?+
Yes. Cancel from `/admin/billing` and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access through what you’ve already paid for. No clawback, no exit fee, no calls with retention specialists.
Do you offer refunds?+
No refunds on partial months — but the 14-day trial means you’ve had two weeks to test the product before any charge happens. Combined with cancel-any-time, the trial is the safety net. If something’s genuinely broken on our end (like, the product didn’t deliver what it advertises), we’ll figure it out case-by-case.
What if I have 5 customers? 500? 5,000?+
Same $99/mo regardless. The plan does have a 20-service limit per tenant (most lawn operators run 3–5 services) — but no customer limit, no job limit, no recurring-schedule limit, no notification-volume limit.
Is my data exportable if I leave?+
Yes — full CSV export of customers, jobs, invoices, payments, and audit logs is available from `/admin/bookkeeping` any time, on any plan, including during the free trial. Your data is yours; there’s no vendor-lock-in.
What about annual billing or a slow-season discount?+
Coming. We’re building an annual prepay option ($1,000/year, saves $188) and a hibernate mode for off-season operators (paused billing, data warm, one-click resume). Neither is live yet — when they ship, this page gets updated. For now, $99/month monthly is the only path.
